abstractThe experiment is underway to set up across the regions the “health houses”, for which the 2007 Financial Act has allocated 10 million Euros for projects that the Regions are to present to the Ministry of Health.
This house will be a single centre which will draw together the services of general practitioners, paediatricians, out-patient specialists, the Emergency Medical Service and social healthcare services for drug addiction, mental health, home care, prevention, family planning, civil invalidity and so on. Occhio Clinico visited the Social Healthcare Residence that the Italian health minister pointed to as an example of this new healthcare model. |
