Feocromocitoma e ipertensione arteriosa: un caso clinico

Pheochromocytoma is a rare tumor of chromaffin cells. If it is undiagnosed, it brings sudden clinical and, sometimes, fatal complications. Since the tumor cells secrete catecholamines, arterial hypertension is the most remarkable and specific clinical feature in about the 95% of the cases. A precise diagnosis and an accurate location of the tumor are important for therapy.
